Luke wrote for a church that was already being splintered by divisions between Jewish and Gentile followers of Jesus. He understood that the activity of the Holy Spirit was the over-riding evidence of their oneness and the primary gift by Whom they evangelized a broken world. I hope to set out a study of Luke and Acts here that will make us hungry for a new, healing outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
